Bernard Lamarre
Mr. Lamarre started out in 1955 as a structural engineer for Lalonde & Valois the parent company of the Lavalin Group. He became a partner of Lalonde, Valois, Lamarre, Valois & Associés in 1962 and was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Lavalin Inc. in 1972, until 1991. From 1991 to 1999, he was advisor for SNC-Lavalin Inc. He is now dedicating a big part of is time to Bellechasse Health Group Inc. as chairman of the Board.
Many titles and honorary degrees have been bestowed upon Mr. Lamarre: Officer of the Ordre national du Québec and Officer of the Order of Canada. Mr. Lamarre is very active in the arts. In addition to acquiring several exclusive works for the Lavalin collection, he has organized many traveling exhibitions to promote the arts throughout Canada until August 1991. He is currently Chairman of the Board of Montreal Museum of Fine Arts; Ecole Polytechnique Montreal; Centre d’Accueil Marcelle-Ferron and Bellechasse Health Group Inc. He is member of the Board of the following boards Le Devoir, Société de Développement Angus and Ordre national du Québec.
He was President of L’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec from 1992 to 1997. He was Chairman of the Board of Infradev International Inc., of La Société de la faune et des parcs du Québec from 1999 to 2004; Ordre national du Québec from 2003 to 2005; The Old Port of Montreal Corporation from 1994 to 2007 and Institut de Design Montreal from 1993 to 1999 and 2002 to 2007. He has been also member of the following boards Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal, Collège Marie de France, La Laurentienne générale, the National Bank of Canada, the Canadian General Electric, the Corporation de l’Ecole Polytechnique, Videotron Group and the Ballet Opera House, Microcell, Telesystem, University of Montreal and Tembec Inc.. He has been president of the board of directors of the Canada Development Investment Corporation, past member of the board of directors of F-I-C Funds Inc. and the Polysar Energy & Chemical Corporation. Mr. Lamarre has also been chairman of the Engineering Centennial Board held in 1987. He was also President of the Canadian Cultural Property Export Review Board from 1992 to 1994.

Richard Drouin
Richard Drouin is a Counsel in the law firm of McCarthy Tétrault. He is the Chairman of the North American Electric Reliability Corporation. Earlier, he was the Chairman and CEO of Hydro-Québec and until recently Chairman of Abitibi-Consolidated and Stelco Inc. He received his undergraduate degree from l’Université de Montréal and his law degree from l'Université Laval in Québec City.
Mr. Drouin sits on the boards of Addenda Capital, American Superconductor Corporation, BAA (British Airports Authority), Gesca (French daily newspapers), and President's Choice Financial. He is a Fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society and a member of the National Round Table on the Environment and the Economy.
He is Chairman of the Board of l'Université Laval. Mr. Drouin holds an honorary degree from the Université Lumière in Lyon, France. Mr. Drouin is a Companion of the Order of Canada and an Officer of l’Ordre national du Québec. In 2001, he was nominated the Energy Person of the year by the Energy Council of Canada. He is an Honorary Consul for Great Britain in Québec City.
